Daily Itinerary.

Weekdays in Playa Vida are very simple, but also leave many choices up to you. There is a society breakfast at 9 A.M. for those who choose to wake up. The work day begins at 10A.M. monday through friday. There is a siesta at 1 P.M. until three and the working continues after that until 6 P.M. Then the night life begins. Parties, dancing, eating, and drinking until all hours of the night. There is a midnight buffet every night. The government pays for these activities for you.
Weekends are much more relaxed. There is no working by anyone on the island. People are brought in from other places to work weekend shifts to serve the people of Playa Vida. Breakfast is at 11 A.M. These days are filled with swimming, tanning, boating, waterskiing, surfing and any other beach activity of your choice. Dinner is at 7, and you can pick you night activities, whatever you want them to be.

Governing Body.

Playa Vida is a place where the rules are relaxed, like the lifestyle. The government, or coast guard, takes a backseat to the society. They are ran by the people of Playa Vida. The coast guard makes sure all people stay in order, no people harming anyone else in any way. The laws are simple and easy to follow, while still living an amazing, happy life. The coast guard has one station on the island, one at sea. They will have one car and one boat to make their way around the island. The main goal of this government is to be discreet.
If the people feel a person has commited a crime, they can then hold a community meeting. In such meetings, they can vote on how to punish the offender. The criminal can then be punished in various ways. They can be chosen to serve the people of the society in various matters, sent away from the island for a period of time or banished from Playa Vida all together.

Pledge of Allegiance.

I declare my vow to always be relaxed on this wonderful island.
My rights stand for the ultimate chilling lifestyle I have longed for.
I will comply with the utmost hang out guidelines in order on this floating paradise.
I will protect my rights as an individual to do what i want and what i need to
The goal here is the protection of peoples choices in life.
All of society has a choice, and my choice falls here.
Above all else, I will protect my heart
For it is the wellspring of life
Life can only be as good as you make it.

Declaration of Independence.

This society was created on the basis that everyday life in the world was in many ways too hectic. People there were always very stressed out and on edge. Work days were long and hectic, and humans there were always on edge, so to speak. Between constant demands of work and family, and everyday problems of life, people did not have the chance to sit down, and just relax.
Playa Vida was made for a soul purpose, to take a backseat to life, and enjoy the time spent alive. The living here is just very laid back. There is no rushing, no wasted time and no traffic in people's minds. Life is taken slowly and enjoyably. People who come to this wonderful place are wanting a break from what is around them, and whether they stay for a month, a year or a lifetime, a break is what they will receive.

Sally's Journal Entry.

This morning, I woke up and went to breakfast after sleeping it. The food was once again, wonderful. Seeing as today was Saturday, I did not have to go to work. I had partied pretty hard last night, so i was just in the mood to lay on the beach all day. I stepped out of my house and onto my beach spot. It was beautiful out, as always. I love living here, it is just such a break from my old life. After i relaxed in the sun for a few hours, I decided to go for a jog on the beach. That was also wonderful. Then, seeing as running gives you back some energy, I then decided to go surfing. I never knew how to surf before i came here, but i learned as soon as i flew to the island. Now it is one of my favorite things to do. I met some new people today who had just arrived on the island. They were learning how to surf too, and getting pretty good pretty quickly.
After my surf break i went back to laying in the sun until dinner time. The food at dinner was Caribbean, we have a different type of food everyday. It gets us some culture. Then it was off to go home and get ready for another night of partying. This weekend life is great, the beach is what I love. Anyway, so i went to this new party i heard about through my friends. It was at this club on the beach. It was really fun, kind of like a rave which is a little different. Next weekend is the island wide beer pong tournament. Me and jenny are partners, hopefully we can do as good as we did last year. I loved beating a lot of the boys. But now, I'm off to bed, today was very full. Until tomorrow...

Frank's Journal Entry.

Today was Tuesday. They are okay days, the nights are very fun. Today i woke up for community breakfast for once, it was really good. I went to work at my dune buggy dealership. That was fun today, I sold like, 10 new ones to new people on the island. The rest of the work day was just paper work besides siesta. I did not actually nap today, i went for a swim just to refresh myself. I also met a girl today at work. She had moved to Playa Vida the day before and wanted to buy a dune buggy. Her name was Nicole, and she was beautiful. I am planning to ask her out sometime, because we ran into each other that night, at they party. We had a few drinks together and played a couple rounds of drinking games. It was really fun. I'm going to ask her to go to the midnight buffet with me sometime this week. I hope she will say yes. But anyways, after the party i went home with my best buds, again. I'm so glad we all share a bachelor pad now, John, Mark and me. It's great, we live together really well. But anyways I'll let you know how things go with Nicole, see ya.

Monica's Journal Entry.

So like, hey journal. Sorry i haven't written in a while. Today i got up, and like ate some Froot Loops cause you know those are like so good. I had to go to work today because it was Friday, but thank god it was because i totally need the weekend like now. I was working at the bathing suit shop today, and like I probably sold more suits then..ever. It was super busy. I was so happy when like siesta came and i got to tan for almost 2 whole hours. Tanning just boosts my energy up to sell more beach stuff, it's so perfect. Like this beach has made me like so much happier then when i was being a hairdresser before in New Hampshire. OMG it was like so cold there and rainy and winter lasted like basically forever. But, whatever, so then after siesta i went back to work, it died down a little but not too much. After work i had a date with this really cute guy Tom. I met him like a month ago when i came here. He works at the surf shop, he is like sooo handsome. So we went to the huge community party, it was so much fun. Then we went back to his place and hooked up. I'm really happy I did though, he is totally good looking. I have to tell Lindsey about this tomorrow. Well I'm still pretty like..drunk so I'm going to sleep, plus it's like wayyy past my bedtime. Night !! xoxo
